They are Bella's fave but the thought of stinky fingers has meant they haven't come out on walks yet... ;D

Re: Sardine dispenser Potential to fill from the other end? Cut off the sealed base area, spoon in the sardines as you like and use a plastic heat seal unit to reseal the bag. You need to keep the area you are going to reseal clear of any filling to get a good seal. The bags won't last as long as they will with filling via the spout but would be easier perhaps and you'd get a few uses from the bags.

Re: Sardine dispenser I wonder whether you might try putting the sardine paste in an ice cube tray to create little blocks that can be frozen...although I realise they might not stay frozen all the way thru your training...just a thought. I've been buying dog food in pouches to give my dog a jackpot reward but I'm now definitely going to buy buy sardines and give thema try.
Re: Sardine dispenser We use sardines but in a cake mixture, I haven't yet perfected the recipe, but this is how I make it ....to date I think Benson's and Casper's favourite! I use x2 tins sardines (in sunflower oil with the excess drained) oats (80g) and either gram flour (chick pea) or spelt flour (100g) honey 1 tablespoon, one egg,(medium)and to finish a tablespoon fresh parmesan cheese and about 80 -100 mls water. I mix the sardines/honey/water (heated with the honey) together then bung the whole thing in the blender/processor until the mixture gets to a sticky consistency then pop in a baking tray in the oven on a medium heat for about 25 mins. I take it out slice into cubes then back in the oven to dry out a bit more. I pop the whole lot in a tupperware container and store in the fridge.
