I was just wondering if it's possible to have a picture in our signatures? I know other forums allow it but I can find if we are allowed here? Certainly I can't see anyone that has one..

If so what are the size requirements?

    Oh..er...*scurries to find guidance*

Vague feeling it's not possible due to general dislike of massive signature lines making every thing hard to read. But will check tomorrow.

Yes, I had got this right - images in signature lines are (effectively - they won't display if you try to insert them) disabled. This is because on some other forums, the images in signature lines have become large and complex, with embedded code, and lot of people find this irritating to read threads which have more in the way of images and signature lines than the text in the posts.

Hope that answers the question, anyway.

Sorry I missed this one. Julie is right - I think we have talked about photos in signatures, but quite a long time ago now. Some people feel that they can be distracting and interrupt a thread, others like them.

There is also the issue of server space if signature photos are stored on our server.

If any members are keen to have signature images, I am quite happy to discuss this, please do post up with your thoughts
