Just catching up with this again.....did you visit? Was the nasty chap vile? Did you play b****hit bingo and if so who won? And did Rory inflict his own personal pee punishment on him? We want an update!

I think he'd been warned he was very deflated not his usual self took great pains to explain he wasn't a racist(yes he is). Never mention Doug once, I think OHs mum has really had ago at him it was a bit strange no vile behaviour at all. Rory behaved perfectly and was the most well behaved dog ever, he was calm lay down and had a nap. i was all a bit of an anti climax really phew!

we didn't stay long though he He

I'm so sorry for your loss I know how hard it is to lose a such a big part of the family! You did the right thing and he knows that it showed your love for him by being by his side till the end ! It's hard I know ! Just know the memories you created together are yours for a lifetime! As long as you keep him in your heart he will always be with you !

Doug woke me up last night, I was asleep amd he touched my foot and hand with his nose like he used to do then I woke up none of the other dogs were not near me and I asked my OH if one of the others had tried to wake me and he said no they've just been asleep to. The human brain is a weird thing it was so real.

There are many, many things that can't be explained with totally rational logic or proven beyond doubt and I say that as someone very firmly based in science and engineering.

Some connections are never lost, it was nice of him to visit x

I know exactly what you mean - I woke up with Billy cuddling me the other night. He's been gone for over five years... but he comes back to visit me sometimes.
