I've put some photos in a flickr album if anyone would like to meet my little spaniel.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/142844419@N04/ (I've included some baby photos of her brothers and sisters too - it was a cute litter!)

She's been hard work in the past few days and I fear her training is going backwards instead of forwards. I've just bought 'Control Unleashed' Puppy version which I hope will give me some strategies to manage her anxiety and excitement. Would be interested to know if others have used this and have any advice to offer.

Yes, she is - who would think that sweet little face could conceal such sharp little teeth?! Those photos are all a bit out of date actually, she's a bit bigger now. But still beautiful (not that I'm biased of course....)

Aw, lovely! I think working cockers are remarkably cute. Still wouldn't catch me with one, though! :D

Control Unleashed is a great book, although I've not read it in a while and need refreshing. I know @JulieT has been reading the puppy version recently.

Yes, cockers certainly have lots of energy. I don't have many good photos of her as she doesn't sit still for long - I have lots of shots of her tail, as the rest of her body has dived off out of frame!

    What a beautiful dog :)

Hang in there with the biting. It will go away in time.

There are a few spaniel owners on the forum who can give good advice on dealing with all the energy and enthusiasm. Do feel free to start a thread on that in the behaviour or training forums :)

Hi there from me and Bailey in Australia. Your puppy is beautiful. Those puppy teeth are deadly. We are just coming out of that phase and looking to the wonderful teenage years. Still, they are so worth it:)
