    Are the meatballs actually...nice...???

I think someone should definitely make a zombie movie set in an IKEA store. It could be called "28 days later (and still stuck in Section 19: Tableware)".

Aw havreflarn is super easy to bake on your own! I got recipe for them if you want, I'm Swedish you know ;p
And the meatballs in ikea is poorly made, nothing beats home made ones (especially not my great grandmothers recipe). But.. For some reason the Americans loves the ikea meatballs and is always sold out when we go there to stock up on my caviar and lingonsylt (jam they don't got on us and I can't eat oven pancake or oatmeal without it).
Havreflarn is made out of oatmeal, light syrup, flour, ginger root, butter and sugar. So your dog might get some loose poop...

No adverse effects still this morning, and no excessive - um - well, you know where I'm going. So maybe it wasn't her after all. You'd have thought that a big box like that would have made her tummy look a bit distended, and there was nothing like that. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, even though she's a complete scavenger :D

    This would be utterly brilliant!!

In other news, we slept on a bed last night! A BED! It occurred to me that in the ten years that J and I have lived together, we have never actually owned a bed!

Have you at least had ownership of a mattress?

We have! Well, our first "bed" was a big chunk of memory foam (probably more expensive than your average mattress), laid on top of a frame that J had built our of some 2x4 and old doors. It was comfy as anything! More recently, we wanted a very low bed to take advantage of the views from our bedroom in Andorra, so we started off with a mattress on the floor, intending to get a low frame to put it on, but we never did that - the mattress is perfect as it is. And, since being here, we've slept on the "mattress" from a sofa bed (because the frame is awful), again directly on the floor.

I was worried I was going to fall out of bed last night! I often roll off the mattress, but that's rather less dramatic than falling out of this higher-than-average bed! :D
