Had a busy social week this week ending on the most important event.....Dexter's 4th Birthday yesterday ..... Annual humiliation in his party hat! His friend Bailey the Beagle spent the day with him after their morning walk .... She has her own way of overcoming any barrier whatsoever ....so here she is conquering the toy box .... He had various visitors throughout the days both human and dog and the day ended with a play date and a 'pup cake'
So, tell me, did Dex suddenly become a composed, sensible dog when the bells chimed at midnight? Everyone keeps telling me there's an age that Labs become sensible, but I can't quite get a handle on it... Happy birthday, handsome!

There's sensible, then theirs the muddiest puddle you ever did see. Out fox red is calm as you like until he sees water.. then its outright nutter mode.

Dexter had a better birthday than I ever have I don't think they get sensible yet! Rourke seemed to get worse at four, had been quite a good boy before, he is nearly five now but still full of the joys. Drift is 10 and a half and has moments of being quieter!
