Hi all, Riley is now 15 months old and she sleeps for about 16 hours a day. She sleeps all through the night about 10 hours then on and off throughout the day. Is this about normal? I take her out for a walk each morning for about an hour as well as playing out in the back yard during the day. She does enjoy learning new tricks and is very interested (or just nosey) in whatever we are doing during the day. What do you think?

I think I'm so jealous! Stanley sleeps well on a night but if I didn't pop him in his bed for a sleep, he'd go all day without one incase he missed out on something.

I can almost hear him when I pop him in his crate.. "But I'm not sleep.. Zzzz"

My 3.5 year old dog will sleep the day away - but only if there is nothing going on. I don't think he really wants to sleep at all, he's just learned that humans are mainly boring, and you may as well sleep until they get up and do something. He wants to sleep in the evenings though, and he is pretty hard to shift once he gets comfy.
