    Morning everyone,

Over the last few days Charlie has developed dandruff. I haven't changed his food or diet in any way, he still gets tinned sardines in olive oil 3 times a week, I groom him. Any ideas?

    Thank you xxx :)

Could it be the change in the weather? Have you started using your heating more? I find that dries my skin out, so wouldn't be surprised if it could have some affect on the dogs, too.

I found that over-grooming Willow caused her skin and coat to be worse rather than better.

I did think perhaps the weather could have something to do with it. But believe me our house is SOOOOOOOOO :cold::cold::cold: we are scraping ice of the INSIDE of the windows and that's with the heating ON!

I groom him once a week so not sure it's that.

    Thanks xx :)

Cold air is usually dry. Can you check a hygrometer? Maybe you need to humidify.

Cold dry weather does dry the skin out, so it could be that. Also stress, but I don't think Charlie is stressed :)
