Lead walking difficulties - from the dog's point of view!

    Oh it's definitely not the head collar! It's just a double ended lead with rings along the length. I like it because you can change the lengths very easily - that's all. But it also doesn't slip through my fingers (or under my shoe) like I find some webbing and leather leads do - I had to put knots in some of the webbing leads I used a while ago for Charlie.

    So I have it on the full 2m length for 'go sniff', 1m for walking normally, and back to 2m if I want to put my foot on it to park her (and stop her jumping up) if I stop to speak to someone etc. It's also long enough to use it on a loop round my shoulder for Charlie if I've got my hands full with Betsy.
