We brought our marley home end of Nov at 8 weeks told he had been wormed every 2 was from 4 weeks but he didn't look right very round not interested in food and very runny poo so decided to get wormer from vets and I can safely say by the foot long worms we had to clean up he hadnt been he is fine now finally after jabs expensive food etc he now eats like a lab and can't get in in quick enough then wants more he we had the same issue with our last lab who was 13 weeks when we got him who was not so lucky took £1000 to sort his poor belly out but he was OK in the end was the best dog I have ever had

Most, if not all puppies have worms. They can get them from just about anything. Stryker had worms and the vet said the breeders most likely had fleas and he ate one or two.

Then before getting all his shots I let him play with 2 elder dogs and Stryker became ill again. The vet put him on medication because he got a parasite from an elder dog who ate its own or other dogs poo.

The other parasite was from him drinking stagnant water. So just to be safe he was placed on 2 more different medications and 6 months worth of heart worm medication.

He's healthy now but puppy care can become very expensive fast.
