Wow, you have been amazing to cope through all of this and with a young family too. I hope that the next set of operations go well and Beauxs pain is stopped once and for all.

Glad to hear that the recovery is going so well....glad you have a bit of a breather before the next round but I know you are anxious for Beaux, which makes it hard.

Sending hugs and prayers your way!

Hi Lynette. You will get your reward in heaven I'm sure. You and your OH are simply marvelous. Thank you for posting your experience which must be as bad as it can get, but with a good outlook. As you say they are marvelous creatures and I'm sure their joy of just living is what makes their recovery so good to watch.

I have been wondering how you have been getting on. My 16 week old Lab broke his elbow and it was pinned and screwed, so I have a very small idea of what you have been going through and admire both your husband and you for your commitment. The pups are so fortunate to have you as owners, I think their lives would have ended if then had other owners; the cost of the ops is also prohibitive.

The surgeon who did my pup's elbow prescribed Synoqiun and he has been on that for nearly 8 years now and so far, up to this moment, shows no sign of arthritis, so it may be worth you thinking about that.

Lynette, the scale of these operations is absolutely horrific, you and your family are absolute angels.you won't think that you are , but really YOU ARE x
we all know you are absolutely, consumed with your dogs rehab and next round of ops so we really appreciate the updates but never think when we haven't seen you on here for a while that you aren't being thought about....often x
I did October on the couch and floor with my dog,not even a smidgen of comparison to your experiences but I know it's really tiring so please take care of yourselves and each other, you sound like a great team
    my very best wishes
    Angela x

Just read your update - brought tears to my eyes. Don't think you get anymore dedicated dog owners than you. Inspiring. We are on restricted exercise with ? HD at the minute but reading this I am thinking I will definitely just go ahead with an x ray soon. Thanks Sharon and Rosie
