    Hi There,

My name is James, my partner Becky and I own 2 Labradors:

Wile E - just over 2 years old:

And Boggle - 12 weeks old:

Wile E was our first dog and while he is very good in some areas he has a couple of faults that we caused through inexperience. He LOVES people and other dogs way too much and goes a bit berserk when meeting people including jumping up and dashing off to meet them.

Boggle we got as company for Wile E and because we wanted another :) Hopefully he will take the novelty out of meeting new dogs somewhat for Wile E which should help calm things down a bit.

I look forward to reading training tips on the site and chatting with other Labrador owners who have hopefully experienced some of the same issues.

    Re: Hello!

We've just joined too! and have very similar experience to you, you have two very gorgeous dogs there :)

Not sure how to put image in a post will have a dig around and try to find instructions

Barney was my first ever dog and a rescue, I got him about 15 months ago when he was a mad ball of energy that knew his commands but was too excited to obey them most of the time, a combination of dog behaviorist (hmm) training, watching Victoria on the telly and using the trust technique (fabulous) now means that most of the time he's great although still a bit over enthusiastic greeting other dogs but even that's getting better. He was so naughty when I first got him I started his own facebook page and was astonished how many fans he has. (More than my business!!)

I also decided he needed company and someone with more energy than me to wear him out so Rusty the puppy arrived in Feb, who is good as gold and yes it has helped a bit wear Barney out I'm hoping the bit will increase now Rusty is getting bigger.

I'm sure we'll all enjoy lots of lab chat on here!
