I do wonder whether people like that are raised to think that it is acceptable to do that sort of thing or whether there is some sort of 'sadistic' gene in them. I know some people believe that any human life is more valuable than an animal's life but I have to say if given the choice between sending that poor dog to the bottom of the canal or sending the yobs instead I'd make my choice in a heartbeat
