All of you together on a walk, and no upsets. Happy tears for you from here, too. :)

I used to let mine chase Swifts or Swallows as they quickly learned they couldn't catch them so lost interest in chasing ;D Well done Helen and Charlie x

    Re: A Little Off Lead

Sorry but just had to let you know that Charlie had his first ever walk totally OFF LEAD with David and Thomas today, starting, of course with his burn off returning and stopping then looking for direction and, proceeding into the woods he stayed within a 20 - 30 meter distance checking in every 10 seconds with the odd dash but immediate return within 20 seconds. He trotted back down the track along side the fields to the gate where he was put back on lead for the walk home through the village :)

Charlie also did some good short distance whistle recalls too whilst he was mooching :)

The boys reported "he was a 'real dog' and it was like walking Hattie, he was an absolute star" :D

Of course tomorrow is another day, but hey we take what we can get when we can get it ::) :D

    Thanks xx

    Oh my goodness, Helen...

Can't tell you how very pleased I am for you and Charlie and all of you!! You have worked so VERY hard to achieve this, I am totally humbled by the effort you have put in to get this far. Whenever I get discouraged with something I am trying to achieve with Simba, honestly, I think of you and just keep at it. You are truly inspiring to me. If I could give you a medal, I would!!
