I think there is a guideline somewhere @CDM
Will have a look later when I'm on my laptop see if I can find it.

I do know you can have too much, but I'm not sure how much is too much :|

I can't find the previous posts I was thinking about @CDM
But did find this one which discussed the harms of too much Omega-3 fish oils and says:

Translating the data suggests that a dose between 20-55mg combined EPA and DHA per pound of body weight is safe for dogs and cats.

Also this related to evidence (or otherwise) for glucosamine and chondroitin which I think is one of Julie's links

I asked a local pharmacist he looked up on line and worked out how many I would need. It was when Doug was first I'll we used lots of different supplements for him.

She is home safe and sound, just quite dazed and drugged up bless her. All went ok, it was the back meniscus again so it was removed (same as left). Good news is there are only little spurs on the x rays, implants have healed well (TTA op was a year ago) and since august (when she had left meniscus removed) there's been little change. So it is back to rehabilitation 6-8 week recovery then hopefully that is the end of things, for now anyway. Vet said shell likely need stem cell injections later on in life, but we can deal with that.

Thank you. Bella weighs 27.5 Kg, I need to look at how much Hills prescription has in it and if it is ok to give her the omega 3 extra tablets. I'm no good at maths :)
