He he he Helen there will be a stampede! But my guess is there is a list of potential owners already ;) and as much as I would love to say 'me me me me ' I couldn't give a Poppy pup the Gundog heritage they deserve....I cannot wait for blue line in the window though ;D Poppy will be mortified us discussing her private life thus!

    Haha! ;D

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though, plenty more hoops to go through first before we can even think of getting her mated, let alone the blue line!

Ooh so pleased, got the Optigen test report back today - Normal/clear for prcd-PRA. Specifically, "This dog will never develop the prcd form of PRA (progressive rod cone degeneration form of Progessive Retinal Atrophy, the most prevalent form of PRA). Significance for breeding: genetically normal/clear dogs can be bred to any dog and will produce no pups affected with the prcd form of PRA".

    Yessssss!!! :D

CNM (centronuclear myopathy), EIC (exercise induced collapse), HNPK (hereditary nasal para keratosis), and SD2 (skeletal dysplasia).

But I am going to wait to do those tests until after she has been judged for her conformation to breed standard, before I make a definite decision whether to go ahead or not. :)
