Welcome to you from Mags, Tatze and Mollie :hi:

Tatze is my pet dog, a black Lab three years old. Mollie is my fourth Guide Dog puppy, a black Lab and she's fourteen weeks old.

Yes it would but, until the pup is older, s/he will need your company for many reasons. Toilet training and socialisation especially.

Two weeks is nowhere near enough, they may be able to be left for half an hour by then but will need someone coming in to see to them. Mollie is 14 weeks now and I can leave her for an hour.

Here is a good article, I know it says 'full time' but it's just the same for the dog http://www.thelabradorsite.com/should-you-get-a-labrador-if-you-work-full-time/

When I worked part time I had my Mum coming in one day, MIL the other and doggy day care the third :)

I strongly recommend the Happy Puppy Handbook.
