    Re: How many names?

    Awesome :)

Glad I not the only one whose lyric writing capabilities extend to repeating the same phrase ad infinitum. :) Good thing dogs love a recurring lyric.

Her normal names are "Holly", "No Holly" and "NOOO Holly"! She also responds to "Hols" and "Miss Stinkybot".
Around Christmas she gets very confused when carollers sing "The holly and the ivy", "Deck the halls with boughs of holly" etc. She can't understand why they call her then ignore her!

This post has just made my day!! Crying with laughter

    Ella gets:
    Ella Bella
    Loony
    Loony Loo
Bitch (we only tend to say this one at home but you have to say it really gangster... "yo biiiitch" and gangster hand actions help)

The only song so far is Rihanna 's umbrella:

"under my umbr-Ella, Ella, Ella, eh, eh, eh"

Although, having read this post, I'm pretty sure "Loony Loo, Loony Loo, Loony Loo, Loo, Loo..." may begin to make an appearance!

    ☺☺

It's been a while since I started this thread and a few more names have cropped up since then.
Shadow responds to "Handsome boy" and Willow to "Beautiful laaaaaaaydeeee". They are also both "munchkin".
Willow is "PropaDog" and Shadow is "NotADog".
    And Willow is "The Duchess".

I feel I'm missing out, because we don't have hand signals.

Benson is also called Bugalugs...he also thinks he is called biscuit and chewy...

    Blake we call "fishface"

Casper is only Casper as befitting the gravitas of his responsibilities and senior position in the household...however at times and from a distance it does sound like "Caaaassssspeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrr!!!!!!!" :)

We always tell him he's supposed to be a vicious guard dog ( ;) ). But he spends his whole life on his back with his bits in the air. His ancestors would not be impressed!
Willow, although not a vicious guard dog, is generally very dignified and dog-like in repose.

We have Belle, Stinker-Belle, Stinker, Doofus, Mong-a-Dog, Pupsicle - she answers to all of them.

Coco is early days yet..Coco-Chops, Mr Chops, Chopsicle, Spaz-head, Daddy's Puppy - and his song is the Coco-Pops advert - "I'd rather have a bowl of Coco-Chops!"

    Sorry, a couple are a bit un-PC.

He has two others but not appropriate for this forum! He's a sock/underwear thief !

Hahahaha, what a lovely topic. OH calls her Princes Mabel. As I don't want her to get ideas of grandeur she also know as:
    Mabel the menace
    Sausage
    Pumpkin
Or "that's not like you to mess about" which at the moment is the number one name
