Had to take the "black beast" to vet yesterday for tick bite and he's gained over 2 kg in 2 weeks! Not a bit of fat on him just growing like a weed!

Thought I would post Nellies weight now I know it!
She is 8 weeks today and was weighed at the vets this morning for her 1st vaccinations.
She weighed 4.9kg which I thought was a little on the small side but looking at this graph it just shows that our pups come in all shapes and sizes! ;D
Nellie is from a litter of 12 does anyone know if this affects weight initially like human twins or triplets don't weigh as much as a baby from single pregnancy?

Yes, Nellie's bang in the middle of our sample!
I'm glad the graph is proving interesting.... I'll re-post it with all the recent additions when I get a mo. (We have thirty doggies represented on it now!)

Thank you Rosie, I must try and dig out the early data on his weight, at one point he was actually a bit light, and extrapolated at 12 months only weighing 24 kgs, he was on Burns Original puppy food in the early days so don't know whether the change in food changed his growth pattern. Very fit and healthy, with a shiny coat, and boundless energy! :)

Sandy was 6.7kg at 8 weeks and is 7.0 kg at 9. He seems quite chunky and would eat for England!!!

    Well done Sandy!
Pongo was 10kg at 10 weeks, so it sounds like they are similar...

Benson was 10kgs at 10 weeks, and 14.7kgs at 16 weeks, he lost a bit of ground around the 4 - 5 month mark and now has bounced back at 27 kgs @ 8months old :)

Penny is 17months old, weighed her for her Spey on Friday and she's lost 0.2kg so she's now 18.5kg. She seems to fluctuate between 18.5 and 18.9. I think the heaviest she should ever be is 19, she looks good at 18.5 though. That extra 0.5 makes her look a little plump  lol

Molly is another lightweight at 22½ kilos at 9 months. Not easy to weigh a squirming mass of muscle, but I figure that if she has bags of energy and I can just feel her ribs without seeing them I've got it right. It was good to see the pictures of Penny, she looks very much like Molly, it reassure me that I'm not underfeeding her

    Gosh, Penny is so light!

Charlie has settled just below 28kgs, and is slim at that (the ends of his ribs feel a little "sharp" if you know what I mean, and are just visible, with a very, very clear waist and tuck). My vet says this is "thin side of average" which is what he wants.

Charlie is starting to bulk up at 16 months, his shoulders and neck are getting thick, and he is starting to look very "male" now - oddly, to me, this doesn't seem to make him weigh more though (the vet nurse won't have that, she says the bit of extra muscle is no excuse to get more than "a tad" heavier).
