When Aileron wants to go out she first lays her paw on us gently if after a bit she will whack us a bit to let us know she is serious. Well that's all cute BUT, now she wants to go out ALL the time often just to play. How can I teach her the difference between needing to go potty and wanting to play? I was thinking : only allowing one spot for her go go to after she whacks us. Then setting a clock, when the alarm goes off she will know that is the time I will take her to play with full yard access. Please give me ideas! They will be very welcome ldm

It's good that she lets you know.

I would time her. if she's been potty in the last hour ignore the pleas and maybe distract her with some training.
