What a wonderful world we live in. Almost daily I read stories of Labradors trained to detect disease, breast, prostate and urinary cancers. Today I read of a lady suffering from Pots syndrome whose life was dramatically changed for the better when she was given a black Labrador which warned her when she was about to have an attack. I understand the Charity which has 55 trained Labradors at £11,000 each was started by a lady GP whose breast cancer was detected early by her Labrador. I have just made a donation to the Charity and another good reason for owning a Labrador!
