Thank you for all your kind wishes.
My OH and I both had the 'I'm starving' eyes this morning. None of us had breakfast as it felt unfair on her. We got to the vets at 9.45am, had pre op checks at 10am, then an emergency came in (puppy hit by a car), so they asked if I minded waiting so they could deal with the pup. So we waited until 11am when they gave her the sedative. We waited in reception for 5 mins but she wouldn't give in, so we then sat in the consulting room (the floors are bloody cold!). She fought it until 11.20am when she eventually curled up on my lap and fell asleep. She was so good the whole time.
I'm currently at home, I've put washing on, tided up everywhere and don't know what else to do to occupy my time! Hopefully they should be calling in the next hour for me to go and collect her. It feels strange being home without her.

I got the call at 2.45pm to pick her up. I got there at 3.15pm. She was excited to see me and just wanted to leave. They had taken her outside for a wee and said she wouldnt go, so put her back in the kennel and she wee'd then sat in it! She won't go on concrete and I forgot to tell them that!
Good news - she has really good hips and joints :). There is a shadow on her left knee - the vet thinks it is from any injury but says it looks like it's healing and doesn't think it's anything to worry about. I've got to give her metacam for the next 5 days to help ease the slight swelling on the left knee and she has to take it easy. The vet is sending the X-rays to a specialist just to make sure.
She's very sleepy still and just wants to cuddle.

    Wonderful! Good girl Harley!
I'll tell Pongo he can stop worrying and that he doesn't have to GROWL at anyone after all. He'll be so relieved.
