Lucan was fed Skinners as a pup, since then we've settled on Markus Muhle or Lukullus both cold pressed foods, but to be honest he's got a cast iron stomach and can eat anything. He often spent a few weeks finishing off a bag of food that hadn't agreed with my Pointer.

My OH thinks exactly the same!!! He thinks all that dry food is unnatural and I should be buying tins...yeah right!

My boys on Millie's Wolfheart Farmers Mix, has been for 3 months and he is doing really well on it, before he was in Royal Canin.

Axel was on Acana large breed puppy until he developed allergies. Switched him to a single protein, Acana's pork and butternut squash at 11 months old.

Molly has nutriment frozen raw food. I switched from the kibble she was on at the breeders at about 4 months.

We have tried Skinners, a couple of Royal canin ones and proplan sensitive puppy.

All of which didn't work as Storm is also a sensitive pup. We are now on barking heads and I am very happy with the quality. However although much firmer and better, her poo is still not kickable (well unless I wanted a shoe full of poo) haha!

So my next step is to try nutriment. We have a local family who stock it and offer advice and they have been recommended by a number of local dog owners. Good luck. It's a minefield. :)

How are you finding it? This is the next choice for us. Just waiting for some tests as she may need to go on to a specialist food. If she doesn't I'd like to try nutriment.

Molly seems to really like it. She was on puppy (but I've since read there's no real difference with raw) but one day just refused it. I tried a few foods but then got nutriment adult and she's wolfing it down again. I'm looking into making my own as think it'll be cheaper. She's 10 months. Poos are firm and she's full of energy.
