I sometimes find things I haven't read which aren't in the New Posts. Also some things don't seem to be in time order.
Probably me, or the iPad :D.

Try hitting the New Posts button again, rather than refreshing the page. Seems to work for me - but I don't use an iPad. Then again, the device shouldn't make any difference as to what content is displayed, only how it's displayed.

Nope, tried that, still things in the box underneath (something like 'no new posts since your last visit but unread messages'). There were some there from this morning when I first turned the iPad on. It doesn't really matter as I can find them ok, it just seems a bit odd.

I had that message on day one. After reading all the very latest messages I clicked on the "mark all messages as read" and now only see the latest new posts.

Me too, but I also had to mark all forums read initially, to get the new posts showing properly

Was the photo you wanted too large? If you want, you can email it to me and I'll resize it for you. Let me know and I'll PM you my email address. Must get mine changed, too, it's a bit blurry because it's been resized up from the old forum.

Thanks Snowbunny, yes it was too large. Might not be acceptable though as it is me, dog and a pheasant!

Hi Helen think now it comes under "Conversations". If you click on your name at the top right of the screen you'll have a list appear. Roundabout the middle there a title "Conversations", click on that and you previous pm's will appear in a list and you can create new Conversations :D:D

It's called "Conversations". To start one with a member, you can click on their avatar, which brings up a little box which has a "Start a Conversation" link on it. Or, in the blue bar at the top, to the left of Alerts, it says "Inbox". Hover over that (or tap it on a mobile device) and there's a "Start a Conversation" link there, too :)

New tip: quoting part of a post - you may have discovered this already but I only found it today - if you highlight a part of someone's post and wait for a moment, a grey 'reply' button appear next to the highlighted text enabling you to quote just the highlighted part and not the whole message
