I picked Tristan up last night (4pm). He was sick several times in the car and led in it so we showered him. Harley went into the shower and let me rinse her off.......I think she was trying to show him that it was OK as he was a bit nervous He is so sweet. He's taller than Harley, but is very slight build. We had one wee accident but it was my fault for not recognising the signs. He slept downstairs with my daughter - woke up twice and stood by the door both times to go out for a wee. He is very lively and bouncy . He likes his food . We are going for a walk later to a place called forty acres as it has a small wooded area as well as several fields so we can see how he is on a long line. I will try and post some pictures later.
We are just fostering . I love fostering now and then, but do like a lot of 1-2-1 time with Harley. Tristan was in a foster home with a view to adopt, but the resident male dog kept attacking him so it was difficult for the lady. He came over from Cyprus 4 days ago.
Oh he's beautiful, he looks just like my Charlie - gorgeous!! Good luck with placing him in his forever home xx
Pongo says hi to Tristan and he would like to go runningrunningrunningrunningrunning with him some day please. (And he also sends a little lick to the lovely Harley and her tail.) xxx
What a flirt you are Pongo! Harley is a little star with her foster brother. Hope he finds a fab forever home x
Update :- Unfortunately last Sunday Tristan jumped up on me (I was sat on the sofa) and he landed on my neck . I have been in hospital today due to the pain - X-rays are all ok , but I have made the difficult decision to move him on as I can't risk my health any further. The home he is going to are going to foster with a view to adopt, so hopefully it will be his last move. I am really going to miss him as he is so sweet and affectionate. He has come on leaps and bounds since last Friday in everything except jumping up.
The important thing is you offered him a lifeline out of the rescue centre, and helped him take steps towards his new life Well done for that.
That's sad Naya but your health has to come first. As Marcus says you gave him a wonderful lifeline when he was most in need. Hoping that he settles well with his new family and that you're feeling better soon x
Fingers crossed he has found his forever home. You gave him his stepping stone to get there. Hope you're feeling better too.
