I just clicked on a jpeg in my picture library and allowed the program to do the rest with sizing and it loaded easily. Not sure on pixels but my photo is 726kb in size

 

Hmmm, I tried that. It's not automatically resizing mine. The photo is 3.31 mb though, much bigger.

 

Wow that's some photo. I thought mine was big at 726mb, around twice the size of some of mine. It might be worth having a play in Paintbox to see if you can resize, if not drop a message to Snowbunny for help

I had the same problem with every photo I picked. I ended up having to resize a file on photo editing software to be able to upload it. My original photo size was 4.62mb (too big to upload) and my resized photo was 303kb which was fine. Not sure what the threshold is though.

 

Without checking, I believe the upper limit is around 1MB for upload. It definitely won't take a file at 3.3MB. If you need, I can resize it. Let me know and I'll PM you my email address. If you're on a Mac, it's dead simple to do it in Preview.

 

Thanks Fiona. I can resize it myself. I made it 2.0 mb and that's still too big. I will drop it down to 1mb and see how that goes.

 

AS you see, I did it. And for others, this is 1.31 mb. I mean it was when I resized it. I think the programme made it even smaller.
