Often when I try to open a thread, I just get a white page. The link address displays in the browser, but no thread. Sometimes it works on the second or third try. This does not happen every time, but it probably happens 1/3 of the time. Occasionally I will be taken back a level also, instead of going to the thread I clicked on.

Originally I was using FireFox, and when I changed to I.E. I thought it got better, but now I'm having just as much problem with I.E. and Chrome.

Hmm.....I haven't had any problem (well, within the limits of a bad broadband signal generally)
    I use Chrome.
Are you on a laptop or phone, or an iPad? I think Angela was having problems with her iPad working properly last week......

I'm on a Laptop/Desktop, running Win 7 and various browsers. The site seems very slow compared to other forums I visit. Maybe the electrons slow down going over the pond. I normally have about 10 gig down which is plenty fast for text based forums, and netflicks for that matter.

P.S. Thank you BBC for all your great TV programs that we get on PBS. I don't know what we would do if we only had our commercial networks.

Sorry to hear you are having problems - I hope Angela can help with some tips. She had awful problems in Dubai and it was something to do with her service provider and the UK forum. I don't know if she solved it....

I occasionally have issues too, though much less so with the new forum. I always thought it was because of my ancient iPad (practically a stone tablet...).

Just for example It took me 12 to 15 tries to get into see these answers. I don't have any problems on Miata.net or the Badger & Blade or Rose City Astronomers sites. I tried 3 different browsers and none of them were any better.

I really like the website, but it is frustrating to use.

Hmmm, I've not heard of anyone else complaining about that specific issue on the new forum software. It works a lot more quickly for me than the old one (we switched just before you joined). I have various operating systems and browsers, so I'll play around and see if anything pops up.

I've had no problems with pages loading, in fact much quicker than the old forum. Sometimes get a slow response on my phone but that's down to my signal strength, not the forum

I have had issues for several days. I don't know why but everything started working normally late tonight. Maybe the goo in the pond dripped off the electrons:cool:. What ever the reason, it is nice to be able to surf the forum again. I'm curious if other folks in NA were having problems at the same time.

Still working fine today. Odd that it was just this site, and no one else seemed to have issues, but that is the Magic of the Internet!
