Introducing my new Labrador

Sorry , couldn't resist sharing My latest acquisition of SylvaC dogs , now rehomed with me and the rest of the SylvaC group . Been searching for this one for a long time , and like buses , another one but black is on his way to me right now x

 

Had me there - thought you were sneaking in a new puppy . No late nights/early mornings or biting with your new arrival

 

Hehe, could you choose boy or girl?

 

This one is definitely a boy And he is no trouble at all

 

Wow he won't need much walking Kate! x

 

He is as good as gold and his black brother is joining us this afternoon , you just watch him be the troublesome one

 

When does training start? I predict he'll be a whizz at "leave it" and "stay" but "sit" might be a bit more of a challenge.

 

I would concentrate on teaching him 'stand' for now

 

Black brother has now arrived , a little quiet, just standing around x

 

He embodies the calm dignity of the Labrador.

 

LOL, I guessed it would not be a real dog but I was thinking maybe one of the edible chocolate ones. Will have to google up what sylvaC is.

 

Its a make of pottery from Stoke on Trent in England , very popular back in the day , mainly produced in the 30`s 40`s and 50`s , all figures are numbered and on a register and have to carry the SylvaC mark , end of lesson

 

I think the black one is waiting for a treat!

 

I'm from the potteries originally its a strange place. A lot of the Pot Banks have gone now and only a few factories are still open. Minning and Pottery was the main industy it bred a tough bunch of people. I miss it and still visit a lot

going to crufts on thursday might do a bit of new doggie shopping but don't tell my OH
