Right - I'm inspired now! Am going to get hold of Lucy the Labrador and create a Pongo version for my new (4 day old) grandson. And if that goes well, will start producing some more to sell for GDs or Dogs for the Disabled! @Boogie - let's compare notes on how they come out?

That's the nice thing about toy patterns - they are essentially just a big, continuous long line worked in a spiral. The pattern is circular
Thanks Helen Lily has had the flu for over a week, so she's (understandably) quite fed up and grumpy. I think we are coming to the tail end of it now though, hopefully! I need to crochet new toys faster by way of distraction...
Poor Lily how horrible for her but glad to hear she and you are nearly through it. I find it difficult when my children (not so tiny now!) are ill but not if you have crochet Labradors to help cheer you up! xx
