After getting Dyson back on track after his ED diagnosis we decided to adopt Roxy from the SSPCA. Let the fun commence.. Sorry can't get photo to upload??
All I know is she is about 5 years old and a little nervous. Wasn't mistreated in anyway, is a bundle of love and energy. She has never been walked on a lead and sadly isn't sure how to play. Nothing like a challenge
Aw bless her she's bound to be a little nervous. Charlie didn't know how to play either but Hattie wasted no time in showing him now we can't stop him Interestingly he never plays with any other dog.
Dyson doesn't quite understand why she won't play. He's trying his best bless him. Good thing is Roxy would chase a ball from dusk till dawn, has good recall so hopefully they will be good for each other...fingers crossed.
You have got it made, Charlie is the furthest thing from a retriever on the planet and he's a Labrador x Pointer - unbelievable and he had NO recall but does now. Of all the dogs in all the rescue centres …...
Welcome to Roxy! I'm sure it will take her awhile to settle in, hope there isn't too many bumps along the way!
Hi there Roxy, great to hear of another lab being safely rehomed.I'm sure she will play with little bro when she has relaxed into her new environment.Best of luck with settling her in and hope Dyson is in continuing good health too x
Big welcome Roxy , I`m sure her brother will help a lot . My rescue girl didn't know what to do with toys or how to play , her big brother soon set her right
