Hello everyone! My name is Nade and I am a proud owner of one black girl named Pepa. I am a vet student finishing college. I come from Macedonia hope to have a good chat with everyone here. Cheers! p.s. sorry for the language mistakes if I have them, please do correct me, I wont mind, on the contrary would be grateful if you do. English is not my native language.
Hello from me and Lilly in Scotland. A very warm welcome to you and Pepa. I am afraid I had to Google where Macedonia is - my geography is pretty bad. I think you are our first posting member from Macedonia. We have a map for membebs to post their locations if you would like https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zgQiS9cKPcNk.kjQDvs0NIL7s jac
Thanks! I would love to! But I seem to be having a problem with posting the location. I little bit of help would be more than welcomed!
The map. I I know how to work around the board. I am familiar with XenForo because a macedonian everyday forum that I use, uses it as well.
Well, on my view of the map it's just the ink dot at the top of the page. Pull it onto the map and give it a label. Would you like me to do it for you? We normally recommend just a dot in the middle of the town you live in, rather than your exact address.
Sure you can do it, if you need the specific town where I live its Kocani, you will find it on the East side of Macedonia, but you will have to zoom it in order to be shown. I am very very grateful Julie!!! ^_^
Thanks! Now I have a question. I think I have a good topic for discussion, but I dont know if you already have it and if you dont where to put it. Its about the genetic test that are done in our breed. So should this thread be posted in the health or the genetics subforum?
Hello and welcome to the forum. How exciting, a member from Macedonia! Do tell us a bit more - are dogs common where you live? Are there any restrictive laws? Are you allowed them off-leash in public places, or are there designated dog parks?
A warm welcome from me & my two dogs, we live in the Isle of Man. We're not Labradors, but all dogs are welcome here.
Thanks everyone for the very warmed welcome! Yes, dogs are common where I live, but in my town the level of taking care about the dogs is still very low unfortunately. In my town we dont even have one normally equipped vet clinic As far as our capital, things are a bit different and people are starting to understand what having a dog means. About laws, yes, we have them(how much they are obeyed, its another question to be honest), for example dogs mush have muzzle loop(I think you will understand what I mean) when they are being walked(which to be honest I dont obey because we have a problem with stray dogs and if I put that on my dogs muzzle she wont be able to defend herself). The newest and the most stupid law is that dogs are not allowed to pee on the grass (bad politics ). Off leash is not allowed by law, but many people practise it and I am not happy about that because Pepa got bitten in the park(full with kids) by a dog when she was a puppy. Dog parks....I will go with a NO on this one, because the so-called dog parks that we have only in the capital are big enough for a toy breed. There is no place for the big dogs to run, without any incident occurring. Do ask more, I am more thank happy to answer everything
Welcome welcome welcome from me and my great bit yellow boy Pongo in south Wales! Your English is excellent (and a lot better than my Macedonian ) Rosie
