Ripple is choosy over which dog poo he eats, however I don't know what makes him pick one poo over another - probably not an analysis I want to undertake :puke:.

Lab #4 does (spayed female and our current Lab). Lab #1 did as well (neutered male). Lab #2 would not even look at it (spayed female) and Lab #3 only started once she saw Lab #1 doing it (she was a spayed rescue female). Once she was the only one left out of the first 3 she stopped eating it.

We pick up after Lab #4 every time she is outside - regardless of whether we are walking on leash or she is in the fenced back yard. But I swear she is part goat - she will eat absolutely anything!

Thank you so much Pippa! I have read your articles and forums online for years and thought it was about time I joined. BTW, I have tried putting a couple of teaspoons of pumpkin in their food because a friend said that would stop Ripley from eating poo. That didn't work.

Any poo will do for my Molly....rabbit, fox, deer, bird, duck and even her own. Yuck. She's not had the opportunity to sample human poo, but I would never trust her to pass it by if she came across some.

Welcome to fairy foot and mbmartin too! We often seem to meet new members over discussions about poo... I think it might be a lab thing :)

I swear, I've never talked about poo so regularly. I'm not happy til I've seen my girls poo in the morning to know she's ok. What happened to me?

I voted no, she once at some horse poo but came away as soon as I spotted her And told her to leave it. It's usually just a sniff and then she carries on with whatever she was doing. She's 8 months and not spayed yet.

Ha this is soooo funny! Haven't been on the forum for a while but glad I came back to this and in time to vote!!! My Phoebe is a fantastic poo eater - mainly dog, rabbit, sheep, cow, horse. Never come across human poo but I would put money on her loving it! We have worked really hard on "leave it", which works most of the time if we see her in time, but she is definitely still a poo eater!! She is spayed.....
