Handy video, too, Julie. I haven't bought, yet, but I had put the smaller size in my basket. I think I'll go along with that, because I think they'll fit in my bag better!
I'm ok with the larger size, but he did manage to put his paw through it at one point! So for a dog any smaller than Charlie, the smaller size would be better. I plan on hanging it on a lanyard for when I don't want to take a bag. It really is a 'one toy does all things' toy though, it's all you need.
Looks like great fun! I love the way that Charlie just prances around towards the end having a tremendous time. Looks bigger than I thought...do like it
He He....love Charlie Lilly would prance off with it and drop it when she found an interesting scent, so I would have to go off searching for it
He absolutely loves it! It is going to make a seriously good reward toy. It was seriously chunking it down, so sorry about the video through the raindrops on the lens....Charlie gets over excited, wears the ring on his head, and I decide we are not using a fetch cue for getting a ring! I think I'll have a new cue 'PULLER' that just means take the puller as a reward, regardless if I've thrown it etc.... Great fun! puller fetch by julieandcharlie julieandcharlie, on Flickr
He was pretty not-all-that-bonkers tonight, by Charlie standards! You should see him when he really has an attack of bonkers!
I picked my rings up yesterday - the dogs LOVE them! Willow got right into pulling them, which is fabulous because I've been working on getting her to play tug, but she's still a bit half-hearted about it. I think it's the texture and she's not really a fan of having anything furry in her mouth - these are brilliant and she doesn't need any coaxing. I bought the smaller ones and they're a perfect size for us. I'll try to get some video later on.
ooh..meant to mention we brought them too....the ladette pops one round her neck then runs off so Benson can chase her! They both love the texture, and have great fun playing tuggy, a real good buy!
I just bought a second set to put away in case I lose them Willow did a couple of lovely un-arounds with the ring on her head this morning!
When Bramble has recovered from her walk today will try and do that! They are much better than I thought they would be, specially as Benson isn't particularly a tuggy sort of dog
They are surprisingly good aren't they? I think it's because there is so much you can do with them, it just adds up to being a really exciting toy.
Casper with his puller. Casper we don't think ever had toys as a puppy, or played with humans but he does love a game of tuggy with his puller! Clip of a very gentle game with hubby With Benson and Bramble having zoomies in the background!
Yay! That's lovely. He wasn't letting that young whippersnapper Bramble have his puller ring! Fair old turn of speed there to snatch it off her!
