Look! Look! It's for my Dad's birthday next week! Charlie tried to eat Crochet Choc Charlie - because no soft toy has ever come into the house before that wasn't for him! crochet choc charlie by julieandcharlie julieandcharlie, on Flickr
It's so lovely - so different from a mass produced toy. Feels really handmade and sort of old fashioned, and proper.
Crochet Choc Charlie has been packed to go to his new home in Yorkshire - my Dad says his home will no longer be Labless. Choc Charlie was extremely sad to see Crochet Choc Charlie go, because he really, really wanted to eat him! Thanks, @Lucy. Was a fab pressie for my old Dad! I decided that the privilege of naming him had to go to grand-daughter Evie (age 2) who is going to be his new best friend. So his name is.... wait for it..... "Doggy".
Bwahaha! Love it. There is a rock in the middle of Falmouth Harbour called "black rock". It always makes me smile.
Hey @Lucy , your crochet labradors seem a hit with the "LUKAG" fundraising group. https://store11338713.ecwid.com/
I am giving this a bash. I am a crochet beginner but I am a skilled knitter and I am looking forward to the challenge. This will be the toy that Harley has to return to the basket for her end of class trick for clicker class. So I must get moving Watch this space...
