Poor girl had obviously eaten something that didn't agree with her delicate internals. Woke up at 2:30 this morning to hear Lady whining downstairs but too late! Most of it went in the flower borders outside when I got the back door open, but a fair proportion got spread between the kitchen floor (stone floor) and the back room cum dog bedroom floor (carpet - ooh!). Sent OH back to bed when she ventured forth to find out what was going on and then got on my hands and knees and stuck in. Finished about an hour later having thrown a lot of stuff out of the back door to deal with later.

She seems fine this morning although she was a bit reluctant to get up having lost quite a bit of beauty sleep last night. On the other hand Lady was in fine fettle. ;)

Just done some extreme bedding washing and about to hang it all out on the line. You'll be glad to know the smell has now abated - mainly, but Lady still emitting the odd blast!

Hoping Lady feels better soon, poor girl, and that OH has recovered from the disturbed night :). When I had Juno vomiting all over the place a few months ago I gave up washing the mattress covers and just threw stuff away. There is only so much disgusting bedding etc I can deal with plus a sick dog :(. She was due a new bed anyway ;):)

Oh, poor Lady. Hope normal service resumes shortly.

My sympathies re. the midnight poo scrubbing. Just a lovely way to spend the early morning hours...

Oh dear, it seems to be doing the rounds ("Must be a virus" ;) )
Much sympathy on the carpet - can't exactly chuck that out the back door and leave it to morning.
Hope Lady has been fine today.

Lady is back on form - thank you. Whatever it was that she ate seems to have cleared her system now. Whatever it was caused extremely bad smells though!

I'm thinking of renaming her actually. She was up to her shoulders in stinking mud in a ditch this morning!
