Just back from a couple of days staying at my dad's. Bailey behaved beautifully and now has a devoted Grandad and Nanny! Think they like him better than they like me . Anyway as Dad lives near the coast and the fact that for once the weather over the bank holiday was sunny we took advantage and took Bailey for his first visit to see the sea! He loved it...here are a few pictures showing him in the sea (after standing and barking at the waves for five minutes first that is!).
Don't feel rejected if family prefer Bailey to you, mine accuse me of thinking more of Juno than them. As if
Actually quite enjoyed it - if they lived closer I would have ready made dog sitters! but the 5 hour journey each way rules them out!
He seems to really love it, the photos are super. We live on the coast so Luna gets on the beach two or three times a week but she is scared if the waves I have a little vid but I a, unsure how to upload it is quite funny.
I would love to see the video - Bailey barking at the waves was so funny, unfortunately both myself and the OH were too busy laughing to record it! How lucky you are to live on the coast...living in the Midlands we have a two hour car journey to the nearest coast! Hey ho good job Bailey likes being in the car - we plan to have a few days away on the East Coast later in the summer where we know there are sandy beaches that you can take dogs onto - then I can paddle without wrecking my flip flops like I did on Monday but it was worth it...even the painful walk over pebbles in bare feet back to the car! Can't wait for our next trip! Cant help you with the technical but hopefully there is someone more knowledgeable that can help
Oh I am so jealous. We live 10 min to the lake and 30 min to the sea, but we are holding off until Bear is fully immunised (which is another few weeks). Bailey barking at the waves must have been hilarious, a definite memory moment. Thanks for sharing the photos, he really looked to be enjoying himself. Do you know how to upload the video to YouTube? I don't think you can upload video directly to this forum, but you can embed a video form somewhere like YouTube. Happy to help explain how, so I can watch the funny vide
Oh he certainly did enjoy paddling - only trouble is now if he sees any type of water he has to stand and splash around in it! Car needs a valet as smells like the local river at the minute
If you are on Facebook you can also share it to here from there. Your FB video you need to R click, copy image address, click the "Media" icon above (2 to the right of the smile icon) and paste in the dialogue box that pops up. At least the should work
