how many sleeps is that now? We did the chair thing for Doug and Midge and then had to put cushions round him to deter her playful cheekiness, she was very mean when she was small

HaHa! It's only 6 more sleeps to puppy day!

I have done my shopping - although I didn't need much. I bought a puppy bed and some toys (after deciding Charlie wasn't a toy sharing kind of dog  ). Betsy is going in Charlie's pen arrangement, and Charlie has been promoted to the kitchen. So a bit of rearranging stuff, but that's all done now.

I also bought some collars in small, which look like they might be nearly big enough to fit a rat. So I'll have to send those back, and ditto a harness. I've decided I need to be able to measure up the puppy before buying more.

I ordered some non slip flooring for the pen, but am now having a dispute with the company who supplied it about whether I ordered the wrong size, or they delivered the wrong size. I think I'll just have to give in and order some more! :D

Annie's first collar was a cat collar. All the dog collars were to big for her. I had kept Fred old collar from when we got him, but it was far too big for her.

Did you not keep a copy of your order/email form for your flooring?

They say quantity 1 means 1m - I say that's rubbish, I clicked 2.2m roll, and the website specified quantity 1 which I took to mean 1 order...blah blah etc.

I would point out not very good customer service, Ordering should be clear. Say you wish to Cancel the order, which is your right.

Charlie is extremely pleased with his promotion to the kitchen. He said it makes him feel all grown up and I can take the child safety locks off the cupboards now he is a sensible grown up? Bwahahah, Charlie. Extra child locks have been ordered....

Girlie puppy bed. :) It's ok, right - she's a girl. She won't chew stuff, get muddy or be a general bull in a china shop like Charlie, I'm sure.

I'm the first person in my family to ever get a girl dog. Everyone is absolutely fascinated at the thought dogs come in girls. They keep saying things like she'll pee like a girl forever, right? We are all very interested to see what a girl dog will be like.
