Pongo stopped growing "up" at about a year. But he kept on filling out and putting on muscle until he was nearly two.
Dogs seem to vary a lot in the pattern of their growth - I'd guess Ella will do whatever Ella will do!

My two are coming up two and have definitely stopped growing. They are both quite muscular (Shadow more so, but then, he's a boy, so that's not surprising) but still slight, both at around 22kg.

I thought Maisie had stopped growing at about 18 months, but she had recently grown again at just over 2 years old! The vet said this is normal. She looks a lot leggier at the moment, like she did when she was a little pup!!

15 weeks and 12.5 kilos. She's looking leggy which makes me a bit sad. I'm in no hurry to ever repeat early puppyhood but I'm surprised at how fast they stop looking like the proverbial lab puppy!

You say that now, but just you wait. You'll be feeling puppy broody again before you know it :D

    Stanley's 16 weeks and around 10kg now.

His mum was a field lab and his dad a show lab, not really sure which one he is going to take after just yet. He's super cute either way though :)

So first you had the human baby. Then you felt broody and got a puppy. I wonder what the next addition the the household will be? ;)

Homer's been to the vet for annual jabs so have his book outside.

    8 weeks 5kg
    10 weeks 8kg
    6 months 24kg
    9months 29kg
    12 months 30kg
    18 months 31kg
    24 months 32kg
At four years he's now 33kg.

It's all muscle, you can see his ribs ripple when he runs.

Bear has turned 22 weeks old and although last week he looked like he was slowing down he gained another 1.1kg's this week, he is now 28.1kg's.

Thanks again to everyone who provided more data this week, this is an updated graph:

Puppies are much like babies - lovely...when they belong to somebody else :D Chickens, on the other hand...I could definitely do with more chickens!

I have lots of Bear tries to sit in our lap, bear uses my head as a pillow (he doesn't know what personal space is:)), but didn't have "just Bear" photo's to share, so I took my camera outside today to get some shots. It was hard to get semi decent photos (as I was by myself, and he kept wanting to come to me for pats, and it started raining), so I apologise, but here are 2

The first photo looks like he only has 3 legso_O but he actually was half in sideways motion so his other back leg is tucked behind:D

    This is his dad

So he is definitely more from "show" lines than "working" lines

Bear is gorgeous! His dad is simply stunning! I do love traditional looking labs. He looks a lot like Casper :)

Thanks, I wish I could get some better shots, I took about 30 photos, most had no head, a blur, ears in the air as he is running to jump up on my, lots of fun, but not a very successful photo session:D

I keep seeing people describe 2 different labs. This is my previous lab and his brother. We went up for one last visit before Dozer had to say good-bye to us all.

Eddie is the bigger one on the left and Dozer is on the right. BIG size difference
