Double large safe dog crate - and two dogs...

    Well.....there isn't a lot, carwise, that would take a bigger crate than I've already got. I could swap the crate for a double XL, but it's barely much wider - it would give them an extra 3cm each, that's all.

    So, it's a van if I want more space for them. When I win the lottery, :D , or otherwise have a spare £50k kicking around, I'll order a new VW california camper and have the middle section modified for dog car crates. In the meantime....hmmm.....

    The other thing, which I'm thinking about is ideally the dog crate position should orientate the dog across the car to provide the best protection for a rear or front crash. If the dog is along the length of the car, then they are going to have their spine compressed badly in the event of a crash.
