    Hi there folks,

I wanted to ask fellow peeps as to what I should make of my dogs behaviour:

Luffy (now 1yr and two months old) is as ever a boisterous and ever playful chap. When engaging in level field ground play sessions, he more than often has a tendency of parking his backside up bang close to one’s face. He then just stands there as if to say, go on please give my behind a sniff. I am at a loss as to what to do in these situations. I’m not sure as to what me dog is trying to behaviorally convey? Can any of you good fellows shed some light onto what my dogs trying to tell me?

I’m not sure if this behavior will go down well with others! :)

Haha! Looks like he wants you to be a dog!

I wouldn't oblige, personally - we can't play like dogs or sniff like dogs.

    :)

I'm in fervent agreement! Though am still baffled by his behavior. Another quirk he has is that he goes about rubbing himself on the wall and furniture whenever I'm having food and don't throw him anything. :)

Well, it's hard to tell exactly from your description what's going on but sometimes dogs are just strange, no doubt about it!
