We got our beautiful little girl storm yesterday. I don't mean to show off and I'm kind of wondering if she is lulling me into a false sense of security. She is effectively crate trained already. Happy in there with the door closed and slept all night with very little bother. (2 toilet breaks) She sits a lot of the time when she wants something. She does little jumping up. We haven't had an accident - yet. She kind of asks to go outside (she starts yapping) I would have said yesterday that she didn't do any biting but she is being a bit of a crocopup today. Nothing too bad yet. She is also the dearest friendliest little thing. Would love to share photos but haven't figured that out yet. The only problem we have had is with blood in her poo and she had a trip to the vet on her first day. She is currently on probiotics and a diet of chicken a rice.
Weeeell, I kind of think she'll get a bit more puppyish as she settles in. For the first while I had my Jackie home, he was an angel, then slowly he started to relax and act out. Enjoy it while it lasts! Sorry to hear that she's already been to the vet, hopefully she'll be right as rain soon.
Definitely lulling you into a false sense of security! Enjoy these early days. Storm is a lovely name. Take lots of pictures and then you can post them when you figure out how. There are two options; 1. Use a site like Imgur, Photobox or Flickr to host the images, and post the BBCode into your posts here. There are posts in the Technical section explaining "how to" for each of these sites. 2. Become a forum supporter for £10, which allows you to upload images directly to the forum. Good luck - the madness has begun!
Ah enjoy the quiet time before the 'Nutty Puppy' arrives....but you'll still love her all the same....when she's asleep! He he he,only joking ,enjoy her ,she'll be a leggy teenager before you know it x

Ah yes I can can agree with the others now. Had our pup 2 weeks now and he was like yours at first though now biting harder and is more determined at trying to rip our trousers! How long does it last again?!
They differ a lot. My worst was Twiglet who was still biting a lot at 5 months old. Kara was the best, she'd passed the worst of it by 12 weeks ...
Stanley's just turned 5 month and still has crocodile tendencies. He's a lot better, I can have bare legs again without fears of skin grafts, only when playing now and OH gets him over excited and he's easily distracted with a chew or a toy. I'm hoping once the adult teeth are through we'll see even further improvement

Haha yep definitely lulling me into a false sense of security. We have had 3 accidents now. She hasn't pooed since about 11 so expecting a big one soon.
