Bear is now 30 weeks old and weighs 35.8kg's. I have to apologise, I have missed a few weeks of weighing and updating the graph (went to hospital for day surgery which turned into a few weeks). I will try to,get a graph updated shortly.
Yikes, that's no good. I hope you're recovering well now. I'll bet Bear seemed even bigger when you were released! He certainly lives up to his name - what a bear of a dog (but an extraordinarily handsome one)! Xena's now too unwieldy to weigh at home, so it'll have to wait a couple of weeks until I take her to the vet to weigh her for her 6 month worming tabs.
Stanley's still a mini lab. While in the lakes a man who owns 2 labs was shocked he was nearly 6 months. He would've said not even 4. He's still less than 15kg, bless him! Looking at the tiny little pup we got to the monster now there's definitely been some significant growth. I miss the teeny tiny puppy he was, he was so adorable!
Just measured Axel's height and I'm starting to wonder if he's part horse. He's between 68 and 69cms at the withers now, and his front end still has some catching up to do to level out with his back end.. I think. Anyone else's lab really tall? I am asked almost daily "what breed is he?" "Are you sure he is a pure bred? He's huge" etc etc. Might I add that while he's tall, he's so gangly! He's supposed to be the show lab not field lab hehe. Love him either way of course!
