Hehe, the blacks are just as dirty, they're just sneaky about it! Shadow always lets us know just how filthy Willow is :D

@DebzC that's an amazing photo of Libby! Glad you worked it out

Ha Ha I always think Coco "shrugs off" mud - I'm deluding myself aren't I? Black & Brindle is the perfect mud-hiding coat

I also have cream carpets but he's only allowed in there when clean and in the evening o_O

Oh, I took @Xena Dog Princess to mean a Golden Retriever. More hair holds more mud.

I find Snowie is remarkably self-cleaning! Just needs a good rub down with a towel and he's as good as new. Such a thick coat that the dirt doesn't even penetrate down.

If he does get very muddy I make him go back into the stream to wash off, and then before he's allowed back into the car I rub him down with a towel (I must find my tiny super-absorbent camping towel).

If he does stay muddy, the mud dries eventually and just falls off, back to clean.

The backseat of my car however... That's another story!!

We also have cream floors and furniture, which at least don't show the hair!! There is some benefit to the cream colour scheme...

Yes luckily his hairs don't show on the carpet! Mainly on my black jeans if I'm wearing them.
I found that yesterday he managed to magically be clean again after a while. It must have dried and fell off
