Thank you Fiona it really is reassuring. Tonight Mabel decided my friend Linda's very fluffy cardigan was the best toy in the world and ran round the house with it. She hasn't done that since she was a little puppy. We tried to be cross but somehow it just never happened.
Hi, I'm new here but wanted to say pleased Mabel is doing well, what an awful time for you both but here's to better times ahead x
I am so pleased it's October, if all goes well Mabel will be able to exercise off lead at the end of the month. She is still doing well, no major set backs I'm pleased to say although she is incredibly challenging which is a good sign apparently I'm very weary now, just need to hang in on there. We now have 4 cafes we visit on a regular basis, every cloud has a silver lining. I've meet a few nice people along the way. This is Mabel this morning showing her serious face, I think she is looking fitter as the weeks pass. I'm hoping her fur will eventually match as the shaved areas are still slightly different but in the bigger picture of life it's not important.
She is beautiful Claire ,you've done a smashing job getting her condition back ....and remember those cafes and their cakes will be there for sustenance after you've had your long plays and romps when she's back to full fitness x
She is STUNNING!! A picture of health......beautiful shiny coat! It's been a long road but you are almost at the end......hang in there!!!
Well I am looking at her photo, trying to remember, was it an elbow..hip? She looks so poised, yet relaxed it is really hard to tell. Such a beautiful girl
It's been a hard road for you Claire, but you are definitely winning. You should be proud of yourself, and of Mabel. Only thing is, make a new post - every time I see "Poor Mabel, more surgery required" pop up, my heart is in my mouth
