My poor guy licked a metal bar today, and pulled a little chunk of his tongue off :( I couldn't figure out why he was whining, until I saw him spit blood. Looked in his mouth, and poor guys little tongue is raw. Now I don't want to be at work, because I want to be snuggling him al day :(

When you're upstairs having a bit of a pamper and all you can hear from downstairs is..

    "Stanley, noooo...."

    "Stanley, come here"

    "Off"

    *CRASH*

"Oh no, what have you done"

I think Stanley might be having OH's life :D

Yesterday, left Spain at 18C and blue skies. This morning's walk, in Andorra, in the snow. Wow, a bit of a culture shock. The dogs thought it was totally and utterly brilliant. I managed to rein in my enthusiasm.

Ella was snoozing on my lap. I yawned and she took the opportunity to lick my tongue:eek::eek::eek:

    You crossed the line Ella.

My pet hate is dogs in clothes. I don't mean something like a hat put on for a quick photo and taken off again but jackets for walks. The day temperature here has been 8 c at the lowest over the last week and yesterday I met a man with a rough -coated terrier wearing a padded jacket - I thought he looked so uncomfortable.

Yep, there's a lady at training with a labX that has a coat on him every week! She's convinced he feels the cold on our winter mornings when it gets to a chilly 10 degrees :rolleyes:

Meanwhile Ella is rolling in the wet, dewy grass :D

Some times I have to deal ice mine after a walk but no coats my dogs hate them moo lies down if I put one on her and won't move till it's gone. Rory finds dogs in coats weird but fascinating

My little boo is 7 months old now. What a difference from the tiny little guy we brought home. My god he's a bit of a butthead but I adore him more every day

Also - I'm going away for the weekend and having to leave Stanley with his doggy day care lady.

Feel so guilty about leaving him (especially after OH said he would think I'd abandoned him) :(

So he's got a special chicken tea tonight :D
