It's getting hot in Australia now, so I've introduced a nice big water tub (basically big enough for Bear to stand in:D). Being a Labrador he loves it, last night it rained so when Bear jumped in it overflowed onto the grass.

Now I'm not accusing anyone, but when I went outside there was a small hole in the grass, Bear was looking very innocently at me, but.......

Bear did you a favour - there was actually a venomous snake in there. Bear scared it away. Good Bear.

Bear was only trying to help you with the gardening. :)

I don't think it was Bear. I think he's been framed, poor lad!

Definitely not Bear. Someone obviously jumped the fence and dug a hole. Bear must have been trying to fill in the hole when you came home. It happens to Ella all the time

Awww, what a sweetie! He could dig holes in my garden any day. Of course, easy for me to say as I HAVE no garden. ;)

Brogan used to give me this look when he'd dig at the beach and go down for a big bite and swallow of wet sand. Ick. Inevitably followed by me saying, "Big goob, DO NOT EAT SAND!!!" and then said look would appear on his face, tongue crusted in sand, nose covered and big eyes saying, "Who? Me? I would NEVER do something as silly as eating sand!". And then poop out sand for the next two days...heh, heh.... :p

Probably a mole or some underground creature dug out to escape the flood. If Bear might have helped a bit, to save a life, well then he deserves commendation. Good Boy.
