We have just had the best ever short break in Aberporth Wales, full of friendly dogs and lovely kind people. The best bit ever which nearly made me cry was Mabel running and playing on the sand and in the sea with other dogs. I'm afraid it's not a brilliant photo (you can just see her in the far right hand corner being chased by her new best friend) but she is having the best time ever, so very very happy. Plus her recall was pretty spot on, I supposed I've jinxed it now.

Ella says of course she taught him how to chew the box. Why would she leave out such an important step? :D

Helen, not only is he crawling but he's standing and walking around furniture! He'll be one next month :eek:

Good girl Ella you are doing a great job!

Scary how time flies, Nathan is gorgeous, enjoy every minute with him :). My youngest of 4 children will be 17 years old on Thursday  David and I have a saying - "I feel like I'm having breakfast every
    10 minutes" :D xx

When I went to pick Stanley up from daycare today I had a chat with the woman to make sure everything was OK.

She said he'd been no bother except (when I hear this my heart instantly drops)..

He'd stolen her lunch off the worktop and eaten it. :cwl:

One of those moments when you're trying to look cross but can't help but snigger. Luckily she's a huge Stanley fan and seems to find his quirks endearing

Heard the unmistakable sound of "jaws on remote" whilst I was doing the dishes last night. Deep breaths, don't panic, be cool. Wait a few seconds, turn around, and find this. Milestone! Finally getting past the "everything must be chewed" stage /wipes brow.

Also, you'll never guess what has been safely hanging off my oven door for the past two days - my tea towels! Is this dog becoming reliable around the house already?

Had a lovely afternoon. One if my dog walking neighbours lost his beloved podgy in the summer. I saw a tiny puppy head poking out if his coat as he walked his other dog. He was a happy man apparently his wife had suprised him, and Geordie who had his greyhound lurcher stolen 5 years ago then came passed with a wonderful lurcher pup. They were both so happy it's infectious, made Me feel really smilely all afternoon.

Last night I dreamed I had 4 new puppies - a Lab, a Dalmation and a couple of spaniels. I was exhausted trying to look after them all and was so relieved when I woke up to find I just had my dear, easy Molly! I led my first solo training class yesterday evening, so I think it was post traumatic stress. ;)

What a delightful walk with Bramble. I let her say hello to the most gorgeous 7month French pug, not as small as most, and an almost decent muzzle, not as "brachy" as some you see. His name was Reggie and he ADORED Bramble. She was very magnanimous and allowed him to chase her a little :)

Little Mollie wakes up at 7am these days for the toilet - then goes straight back to sleep!

So I've had my cup of tea and breakfast and I'm waiting for doggy breakfast time at 8am. I should be doing housework but prefer playing on here lol :)

When Pongo is deeply asleep, he puffs his cheeks out with every outward breath. It's like an old man going "huff". I think it is incredibly sweet (but then I'm biased).

Oh, what a sweetie! I guess the remote smells very strongly of you, so she just loves being close to it.....
    ...
(oh go on, even if this isn't true it makes you feel all warm and cuddly, doesn't it?????)

Us 3 grown women were crying on the park today. Woody is being trained as an assistance dog by my friend for her son. He's starting to be able to go out with her son and his carer. Shes worried about it. Weve all helped and supported her to get to this point. I saw her son out with him and had to report what I had seen. I told her he was magnificent he was walking beautifully and they both looked happy and confident. We all cried and couldn't look at each other. Woody is a lovely but he's all business when he's out with Robert :)
