It's gotten quite cold around here, which I do NOT like...I stepped out for my last potty before bed and felt the chill and told mum I didn't want to leave the warm house by refusing to walk and pulling her back toward the house with her lead. She's been so mean lately, and forcing me outside when it's dark and cold. Since I was a bit wet and cold, I thought I would jump into mum and dad's bed and cuddle into the warm blankets - and I tried something new - I used a pillow for my head! It was so comfy, I will never go back to sleeping on the floor again. I pushed dad away with all 4 paws against his back to have more room and he moved for me. I woke up refreshed and laid at the end of the bed crying to tell mum that I didn't feel like jumping down myself, since I felt so rested and comfy. I cried for a lonnng time, and as usual I was picked up and placed on the floor. Humans are so easy to train!
This is my little hooman buddy, He is my mummys little brother, the family adoped him when he was even tinier at 5 months old. He is my favorite little hooman. He makes me so happy when he visits. He lets me lick his face, I chase him around the house and garden, and sometimes he just sits and strokes me nicely. He sometimes climbs into my crate, which I dont mind but I keep asking mum iff he can sleep over, she doesnt seem to understand though? and he goes home and it makes me sad.... My mum keeps saying for me to get my beauty sleep as she is taking me for a photo shoot tonight whatever that is? I hope there are no guns there i think they would be noisy.... Ill let you all know.
Dad wanted something called hot dogs for tea last night - I really hope they're not made from real dogs. Mum said she wasn't eating them so there was lots left. I was really pleased about this as they smelt delicious. So I came up with a plan. I jumped up a few times to show mum that I wanted really really wanted some. Then I sat in my mat while she cooked and made no fuss at all, putting on my cutest face I can do. What felt like about 10 years later Mum said to Dad she was going to see if I liked hot dog. Well I couldn't control myself, my tail has never wagged so fast! It was delicious!!!! By far the bestest thing I've ever eaten, even better than chicken or cheese! I sat on the mat for ages and didn't bother mum when she was busy and she kept giving me some. Mum said she's found her new training treat - I hope that means I'm going to keep getting them Stanley
Oh Stanley, I'm so glad you got to experience the joy of hot dogs! Aren't they just wonderful?! Mum and dad and mini hooman took me for a walk to the shops this evening. I get to do this thing where I sit and watch hoomans walk past and, if I stay sitting I get treats. How cool is that? I would really like to say hello to every single hooman and sometimes I think a belly rum might be better than the the treats but mostly I just want to sit and have treat because, you know, I'm ALWAYS starving. Am I the only one that is grossly underfed?

It's the same here Ella and Stanley, my bowl gets put down and then suddenly it's empty! and no one fills it up for ages. I'm sure the cats get loads more than me . Perhaps we should go on strike! Ripple
I neva get enough to eat! Charlie gets tons more food than me! And he is a big fatty so I should be allowed to stick my nose in his bowl and nick his food when I've finished mine (on account of how he gets much more food) but Mum won't let me! Betsy

I'm so hungry all the time that I have to make sure that when someone is holding a treat, that I jump up and grab it quickly! Mum does not like that, and then I have to do a sit and wait, then take it gently...sooo annoying! Sometimes I show mum that I'm really starved by touching my nose against the back of her leg while she's got all the good smelling stuff on the counter top...if she doesn't get the hint, I remind her I'm there by touching my nose repeatedly, then licking her leg. Works like a charm!
Dad does most of the cooking in our house. He can't do it without my help. I sit by his feet with my head juuuuust under the rim of the chopping-board and I catch anything that falls before it hits the floor. It takes a LOT of concentration but I don't mind, I know he relies on me. He says I'd make a great slip-fielder but I don't know what that means.
Hi everyone. Can you tell me why my mum insists on going for walks when it's so colllllldddd?? You know how hoomans have to put their fur on? Well my mum has to put loads and loads of fur on these days and then when we do go outside she is always making these funny noises especially when the wind blows in her face. I guess it's because she can't smell anything interesting because her face is all covered with that fur stuff? Because it is cold? Walks and sniffs are the Funnest Time Ever but these days mum hardly lets me sniff. It's really quite annoying. But I still manage to get treats on walks with the Leave It game so thankfully her training hasn't completely gone to pot, even though she has to take the fur off her hands to get the treat. These days when we turn the corner to Home and I get excited because then I will get Warm again mum does something new! She lets go off that strap-thing and I can go zoomies to the house! She says it's because she knows I''m not going to go zoomies next door where the Nasty Dogs live....I guess she's probably right about that. They are not outside anyway....I haven't seen another dog outside for ages....
I went to this 'photo shoot' thing.... there were no guns...Mum took lowwwwds of treats, But i just wanted to play and meet other dogs I was SOOOOOO excited I shouted the loudest out of any other dogs there, Isnt that what I am supposed to do? I needed to tell them all how much I wanted to play.... Mum wasnt happy... she lost her clicky thing in a pile of mud trying to follow me when I ran to meet a dog....Anyway - I was made to sit and wait for lots of treats and some flashy thing was going off I dont think it was a gun... Mum bought one picture of me as it was for charity. p.s I like hotdogs, but not more than making friends.
Why are there so many spiky balls on the ground at the moment? You can't even see them in all the leaves and then suddenly - ow ow ow! Mum said something about all the horses chestnuts falling at this time of year. I didn't argue, but really? I couldn't see any horses anywhere, and why would horses be dropping spiky chestnut balls around? Sometimes it's best to just keep quiet .
This time of year is great, because there are so many friends that want to say hi to me, friends I've not seen in aaaaaaages! It's strange because most of them have the same fur on, which is blue and black. Mum says it's because they're skee enstruktors. All I know is that if I wag my whole body when I see a blue and black hooman, I get lots of strokes. But on my walk this evening, I saw a blue and black hooman and I wagged and wagged but he didn't say hello! Mum says it's because he's new so he doesn't know me but he didn't look new. He looked older than my Mum and she's ancient! Anyway, I was most put out because all the blue and black hoomans should be my friend! Willow
