Bramble just looked at me earlier today, then started a big wee on our (quite new) rug in the front room. She has not had an accident since about 6 months old (12 months now) has lots of opportunities to go outside. Just thought it very peculiar. I did wonder if this maybe signalling her first season is due? Not the best of timing if it is!
well Jaffa had her first and only accident when she had her first season - completely unexpected, so I guess it is a possibility. Their timing is their timing!!
Thank you @FoxyLady. She is now the same age as her mother, who also had her first season when she had just turned one. She is a bit moody and nervous at the moment, which is a bit odd too.
Well honestly have no idea what's going on. Bramble is in a mood...ignoring everyone, has snapped at Casper. Benson has gone to bed early....oh dear...
Rolo done the same last night. He hasnt had an accident indoors for months now - he is upstairs quite freqently with me so not any new smells. I was tidying around and he looked directly at me then started peeing!!!! strange. maybe here was like here mum clean this too.
Stanley used to do that. Until he was about 5 months old very infrequently he'd just stand in front of you and pee. Then give you "and what are you going to do about that" face.
@Naya, I am not too sure. Took them all out early this morning, have been stuck working in my office all day, left them all with Marcus..so lord knows!!
Tuppence had an accident or two when she had her first season before she was spayed, so it could be linked. She also got quite clingy.
It's not her season just yet, although I feel it is just round the corner....she is certainly looking properly grown-up now..where did my little puppy go??
Oh yes, she is DEFINITELY in season...we think it probably started yesterday. Spotted a tiny smidge of blood on the kitchen floor, hardly noticeable really. She is scrupulously clean. Apart from that I can't really see any change at all. I guess I count the first day of bleeding as day 1 and count 3 weeks, plus a week to be on the safe side
