I wapped my gifts! With Mum. Well, I mainly chewed up the off cut paper - but that needed doing! Who would have done that if not me!

I wapped up a gift for Dad - it's someting to bwush down his clothes that will stop him saying 'for God's sake, all this hair! I can't go to the office like this!'. Mum said it was a weally good gift and he'd pawticulawly appweciate it from me.

I have wapped up for GwanDad liver tweets - because he always has liver tweets about his person, so he must use lots!

My gift to Charlie is two wubber balls. There is no point in giving Charlie anything but balls, says Mum, unless it's a dummy - and Dad has got him dummies alweady.

And I am giving Mum a book, I don't weally know what it's about. Dad got it for me, he says she always wants books.

For my Auntie, who still calls me Bitey McBite Face, I'm giving some new leggings on account of how I appawently bit her on the bum and wipped hers. But I can't wemember that.

So, I'm all done and weady for tomowow!

    Happy Chwistmas!

    Betsy!

I got a Kong Wobbler for christmas this morning, it was full of treats and all I had to do was knock it over. That was good, what did everybody else get?
My mum and Dad been out for a few hours rhis afternoon. I slept for some time as it is to hot to do anything else. Dad said he would leave the Aircon on for me, so been nice and cool inside as outside was about 42c. Dad come home home to give me dinner, special one as it had Turkey, beef and ham. He called it a 'doggy bag' from their friends. But it had no dog in it, very disapointent as wanted a play mate. He is going back to get mum after he has played with me and I got the wet with a sprinkler. I love water and it cooled me down.

OK going back to sleep until everybody gets back, then out for a walk.

    Happy Christmas!

I got a stocking full of luverly chewable paper. Then Mum took it away and left me with the things inside - what was that all about  ?

Mum said main presents are after dinner so hopefully I'll get some more paper then.

Dad got a new dog walking hat in his stocking, it's an elf hat with a bobble and ears and everything - I hope it's dark when we go out.

Just got back from our first walk of today. We went swimming in the ponds on the golf course. Annie jumped in first, then I jumped in on top of her :chuckle: but when we got out

she took my ball and ran off with it, until Mum called her back on her whistle.

Mum said if we are good we can have some turkey, what ever that is...but its smells nice

It's been good so far! I legged it from the very top of the fields to the beach, fooling Dad who has started putting my lead on at the farm gate to stop me running down the path to the beach without him. HaHaHa! I love my humans, but they are truly a bit dim at times! I had a good swim round while I waited for him to make his way down the path. Then he threw my dummy for me a satisfying number of times.

I got two breakfasts! On account of how Short Dumb Blonde was slow getting back so Dad gave me breakfast, then when Mum got back she gave me a bowl with Salmon in it while SDB ate her kibble.

Now I've nicked Mum's shoe to chew.

Mum keeps saying 'which one is the puppy?' which is pretty dumb of her, because obviously I'm the grown up one!

My Duck is in the Aga now, so I think I'll stay in front of it to make sure no-one nicks it. And that way I'll get dry in time for my pre-lunch walk. I might take Dad swimming again.

Cor, my duck was good! I had to share it, but since it is Christmas I didn't mind too much. I let Dad sit next to me through lunch, and he got a mouthful everytime I did. Then I got a plate of duck all to myself! With lots of crispy skin!

Dumb Short Blonde got far too much duck, if you ask me. But it is Christmas, I suppose.

I'm still waiting.....it's not even in the oven yet. I don't mind skipping the cooking bit......but the humans insist.

I did not get my Christmas day walk with my mum yesterday. She was to tired when she got home, so mum said (but dad said something about to much wine). Never had that, but see mum with it now and again. Dad took me out instead when it was dark. The smells where amazing last night, people must have had really good food yesterday. Hope they all shared with their dogs, I know I got some fancy food. Today I will get some more as we are having visitors. They are my favorite aunty and uncle. Dad said I have to be on my best behaviour, I said I will (that is what dad now thinks, it will only last for about 2seconds). Hope they bring me a present.

I been out on the oval this morning running around, no one there so Dad was being really silly with me. Everybody else in the house is sleeping, I think it is time to wake them up....

    Talk to you later...

Wispa and I had a lovely walk today, then we were shut in our crates for a while with frozen Kongs while the humans ate things which smelt so delicious... I'm hoping we might get some bits tomorrow. Then later I got super-excited when we had our presents. Our Kongs were filled with some gorgeous liver paste amd I so enjoyed mine and tried to take Wispa's too, but she wouldn't let me. I won the Santa stick, though, and played and played and played... I even had a Christmas bow on my collar and I didn't mind it at all cos I was having so much fun.

It's been a long day and I'm really tired, so I'm going to snuggle down and dream now...

I had to make sure the turkey was OK for them to eat. I double-checked for them, you can't be too careful can you? AND I helped prepare the sprouts! Yumm!!

Happy Christmas everyone, what a day it's been. Yummy yummy smells and I had the most special thing to eat called pigs in blankets. Wow wow and wow again, I had just one in my bowl and then my biggest surprise ever, there was one on my toy box. Mummy said the other day that if I didn't watch my step Santa Paws wouldn't be visiting. Have absolutely no idea what she's talking about but I just love, really love visitors so I better just take it easy. Well, while I was sleeping Santa Paws came and left mummy, daddy me and my big Hooman brother presents all under the tree. I had three and ripped the paper to shreds oh what fun. We also did that funny looking in the screen thing mummy says it's Skype. Usually I try and jump on mummy's head while she is talking to the other hoomans, but I was too busy ripping up a box. The even bigger hooman brother is in Melbourne this year with the gurgling thing mummy says is a baby, who she loves (not as much as me though I'm her number one, phew). Mummy says it's about time she had another Christmas in the sun. Yippee that means Holidays4dogs with Ruby and Archie. Love love love them, they even sent me a Christmas card. Time for bed as we have granddad and the hoomans from Yorkshire visiting tomorrow, mummy says lamb for dinner. Yum yum yum. Just loving this thing called Christmas. Wonder how long it lasts. Night night.

Dad is cooking a ham for our visitors this afternoon. It smells really nice with all that sweet smell coming from the oven. I am laying in front of the oven just to protect it, making sure no one steals it. Problem is Dad comes every 20or so minutes to put some sauce on, so I have to move. This is not helping my protection stance.
Hope I get some of this later as it smells really really yummy...
Back to protecting the ham for now

It was soooooooooo hot yesterday so mum and dad got the pool out for me to cool down. They said I had to share with mini hooman but that wasn't too bad. This morning it was still warm (mum said something about 28 degrees at 7.30am...whatever that means? ) so I had a morning bath to start the day. It was great
